Atlanta Book Printing Design Service is a wholly owned subsidiary of Premier Copy, Inc. All terms and conditions stated here apply only to work performed by Atlanta Book Printing Design Service and in no way is connected to any other Atlanta Book Printing provided service. Atlanta Book Printing Design Service is offered exclusively to authors/publishers who print with Atlanta Book Printing.

QUOTATION - All prices posted at the Atlanta Book Printing Design Service web site, or any agreed upon pricing via email are subject to change depending on the nature of the work involved once it is received.

ORDERS - Acceptance of order by Atlanta Book Printing Design Service is dependent on payment of 100% of the estimated work to be done.

CREATIVE WORK – Creative work, such as sketches, layouts, and all preparatory work developed and furnished by Atlanta Book Printing Design Service, shall remain its exclusive property and no use of same shall be made, nor any ideas obtained there from be used, until Customer has paid Atlanta Book Printing Design Service in full. At that time, all such work is the exclusive property of the Customer. Atlanta Book Printing Design Service shall have the right to display any creative work for the limited purpose of demonstrating capabilities and otherwise promoting Atlanta Book Printing Design Service’s services at their web site, unless advised otherwise by Customer.

ACCURACY OF SPECIFICATION – Prices are based on the accuracy of the specifications provided. Atlanta Book Printing Design Service can re-quote a job at time of submission if any materials do not conform to the information on which the original quotation was based.

ELECTRONIC MANUSCRIPT OR IMAGE – It is the Customer’s responsibility to maintain a copy of the original file. Atlanta Book Printing Design Service is not responsible for accidental damage to media supplied by the customer or for the accuracy of furnished input or final output. Until digital input can be evaluated by Atlanta Book Printing Design Service, no claims or promises are made about Atlanta Book Printing Design Service’s ability to work with jobs submitted in digital format, and no liability is assumed for problems that may arise.

ALTERATIONS – Alterations represent corrections made to the Customer’s originally supplied file at any stage of the design process. A certain number of changes are included in base price of text layouts. Any changes in excess of these are billable. Text or cover files which need to be accessed in addition to proofs included in base price are subject to a $15/occasion access fee, and any work to be done in addition may be billable at $65/hour. If corrections require submission of a new file, Atlanta Book Printing Design Service will charge an additional fee. Alterations must be submitted via fax (up to 25 pages), and if there are more than 25 pages, we request that the marked up pages be sent as hard copy.

OUTSIDE PURCHASES – Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all outside purchases as requested or authorized by the Customer, are chargeable.

POSTAGE – Unless otherwise agreed, the Customer will pay for all postage charges.

PROOFS – Proofs shall be submitted as PDF proof via an online proofing system. If corrections are required a revised proof is submitted. Atlanta Book Printing Design Service will not be responsible if changes are communicated verbally; if the Customer has failed to return proofs with indication of changes (through the proofing system); or if the Customer has instructed Atlanta Book Printing Design Service to proceed without submission of proofs.

CUSTOMER’S ARTWORK/PROPERTY – Atlanta Book Printing Design Service will maintain fire, extended coverage, vandalism, malicious mischief, and sprinkler leakage insurance on all artwork/property belonging to the Customer, while such artwork/property is in Atlanta Book Printing Design Service’s possession. Atlanta Book Printing Design Service’s liability for such artwork/property shall not exceed the amount recoverable from such insurance. Additional insurance coverage may be obtained if it is requested in writing, and if the premium is paid to the provider. All customer supplied artwork or final file will be returned on completion of the project if requested by Customer.

DIGITAL FILES – Customer supplied digital files will not be returned. It is the Customer’s responsibility to maintain a copy of any files submitted. Files created by Atlanta Book Printing Design Service for the printing of such files will remain the property of Atlanta Book Printing Design Service until the printing is completed. Files requested by customer are available for additional fees up to 60 days from completion of design.

DELIVERY – Final print ready files will be delivered to Premier Copy, Inc., upon receipt of customer’s print order.

PRODUCTION SCHEDULES – Graphic design is a creative process and not a manufacturing one. There are many variables and therefore design work cannot be scheduled the way a manufactured product would be, so the scheduling information outlined here is a guideline. First proofs will generally be submitted to Customer within 7-10 days of receipt of material, or earlier if arrangements have been separately agreed upon. Timely review of proofs are the responsibility of the Customer. Revised proofs based on any alterations requested by Customer will typically be submitted to Customer within 1 week.

TERMS/CLAIMS – Payment terms shall be whatever was set forth in the quotation or invoice unless otherwise provided in writing. If payment is not made, the Customer is liable for all collection costs incurred by Atlanta Book Printing Design Service. Claims must be made by the Customer in writing within a period of fifteen (15) days after delivery of all or any part of the order. Failure to make such claim within the stated period shall constitute irrevocable acceptance and an admission that the order fully complies with terms, conditions, and specifications.

CREDIT CARDS - Credit card payments are offered as a convenience to our customers. Payments by credit cards are treated as cash. In using a credit card, you agree that any disputes regarding the services provided by Atlanta Book Printing Design Service will be dealt with between Atlanta Book Printing, Inc. and the card holder. No charge backs will go through the credit card company.

DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES – Atlanta Book Printing Design Service warrants only that the work will conform to the description contained in the order. Atlanta Book Printing Design Service’s maximum liability, whether by negligence, contract, or otherwise, will not exceed the return of the amount invoiced for the work in dispute. Under no circumstance will Atlanta Book Printing Design Service be liable for specific, individual or consequential damages.
